The EU is a very big market, comprising of 28 countries and over 500 million consumers. Jamaican exporters hoping to penetrate the EU market must meet the EU requirements which protect human and animal health, the environment and consumers rights. The BSJ EPA Portal provides clients and partners with valuable information related to the CARIFORUM-EC Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA), including information on the requirements necessary to successfully export to the EU market, as well as access to tools and resources that will assist in this endeavour.
The main export requirements can be classified in the categories of: Sanitary and Phytosanitary; Environmental Requirements; Technical Requirements and Other Requirements.
