Electrical/Electronics

The Electrical-Electronic Department encompases two areas of focus: Metrology and Testing. The department also facilitates the development and review of standards by participating in the work of national, regional and international Technical Committees. Testing services are provided for electrical products such as circuit breakers, meter sockets, cables, panel boards, light bulbs, etc. Testing is also provided for appliances like televisions, VCR, microwave and fans.

Our Metrology labs provide services in:

1. Temperature Metrology Lab

2. AC/DC Metrology Lab

3. Energy Metrology Lab

Calibration services are provided for:

• Thermometers

• Heating and Refrigeration equipment

• PH meters

• Electrical measuring instruments, e.g. multi-meters, watt meters, ohmeters, etc.
