What does it cost to participate in the NQA Programme?

There is no cost to the applicant.

Companies which do not meet the eligibility requirements.

How do I apply?

Download the Application Form (Introductory Package) from the BSJ’s website and submit the completed Application Forms, to NQA@bsj.org.jm.

What is the deadline for submitting applications to participate in the NQA?

Applicants are required to submit completed application packages no later than 31 March 2024.

Where can I collect the application documents?

Documents may be collected from the offices of the BSJ in Kingston, Montego Bay, Mandeville, Ocho Rios or Savannah-La-Mar, and can also be requested via telephone:  (876) 632-4275 / (876) 618-1534/ (876) 926-3140-5 or via email  at crowe@bsj.org.jm.

 What will happen after I apply?

1. The submitted application package will be evaluated to determine eligibility.
2. If your company has met the eligibility requirements, an onsite assessment exercise will be scheduled and a copy of your company(s) Quality Manual/Policy Manual (or other similar documents) will be requested for the assessment.
3. The awardees will be selected using information garnered from the assessment exercise and the winners ratified by an Independent Examiners’ Board.
4. An awards ceremony will then be held in October 2024, where the winners will be awarded in the Manufacturing, Service, MSME and Agricultural Sectors.  

 What do the winners receive?

• The NQA trophy
• Industry recognition
• Promotion by the BSJ

All qualified participants will receive:

• A detailed value-added report on the findings of the NQA assessment.
•  A Certificate of Participation

How will my company documents and information be treated?

All information obtained during the National Quality Awards Programme will remain confidential in accordance with The Standards Act 1969, which governs the activities of the BSJ. The Assessment Report and its findings are ONLY for internal purposes related to the National Quality Awards Programme.
