CLIENT SERVICES PROGRAMME

 

 

All successful businesses across the world, whether large or Micro Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs), have one thing in common - a desire to succeed. This is a primary motivation for all entrepreneurs however some, more than others may require a greater level of assistance to help them achieve this success. The Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ) has introduced its Client Services Programme (CSP) - specially designed for Jamaican companies - to engage in consultations with staff of the BSJ, towards ultimately benefitting the companies' strategic operations through the use of standards. 

How will the programme operate?

  • The BSJ will consult with clients to develop a greater understanding of their operations

  • Gaps will be identified by the BSJ

  • Recommendations will be made by the BSJ for addressing these gaps

What might the BSJ recommend?

  • The implementation of standards

  • Training

  • Stronger Quality Control

Additionally, companies will be able to access financial assistance and discounts at the BSJ, through the following facility:

  • Discounts through Memoranda of Understanding with the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA), the Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC) and the Jamaica Agro-Processors Associations (JAPA)
