Mrs. Lawrence is a Quality Practitioner with over 25 yrs experience in the field of Quality Management Systems and more recently Environmental Management System.  As the Manager for Quality and Environmental Management Systems at the BSJ,  she is responsible for providing the strategic leadership to facilitate ongoing performance improvement in accordance with the established International Standards ISO 9001, 14001 and ISO/IEC 17025.
The position is also currently responsible for the supervision of the Occupational Safety & Health, Security and Energy Management Unit  of the BSJ.

She played a leading role as Quality Manager in the BSJ gaining its Certificate of Registration with British Standards Institute (BSI); as well as having several food and material testing laboratories gain accreditation from JANAAC, this role continued in having the BSJ's Mass and Volume Calibration Laboratories gaining accreditation from the national accreditation body of Germany, DAkkS.
She was a major player in the team which presented  Four of our Engineering Laboratory's quality system to the SIM/QSTF (Sistema Interamericano De Metrologia/ Quality System Task Force) in Quito Ecuador, gaining a full vote of confidence by all 12 countries represented.

Mrs. Lawrence has served previously in the Bauxite Industry (ALPART), the Food Processing Industry (Aquaculture, a subsidiary of Jamaica Broilers as well as Grace Food Processors Ltd) playing a major role as the Management Representative in all these organizations gaining certification to the applicable ISO standards, including the integration of other quality tools such as HACCP, SIPOC, RACI, 5S (lean manufacturing principles).

She is an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (PECB),  who holds a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and a minor in Biological Sciences from the South Western Oklahoma State University.

An active member of the Andrews Memorial United Church in Mandeville, Manchester where she serves an Elder.
