Interim Director, Engineering

Richard Lawrence currently serves as Interim Director, Engineering Division. In this capacity, Mr. Lawrence has oversight of the Civil Engineering, Electrical/Electronic and Mechanical Engineering Departments. Testing, calibration and metrology activities are undertaken across these three areas.

Mr. Lawrence, who holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad, has previously served the organization as Team Leader, Building and Non-Metallic Materials Department and Engineering and Metrology Coordinator in the Industrial Development Assistance Unit. He has also acted as Manager, Metrology & Testing Division and as Manager of the Maintenance Department.

Mr. Lawrence is a Certified Energy Manager in Training (EMIT) from the American Society of Energy Engineers (ASEE) and a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Guided by the philosophy that the greatest investment is found in "Helping People in Jesus Name", Mr. Lawrence serves the wider community as President, Lucas Cricket Club and as Vice President, Project Management Institute (PMI), Jamaica Chapter.
