The Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC) hosts its 11th annual Small Business Expo and Conference. The Expo is being held on Wednesday May 16th at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel. This year’s theme is, ‘The Business Anatomy: Exploring The Hidden Parts’.

Through this year’s theme, the Expo will seek to:

• Explore the often ignored areas of business ownership including the business frameworks

• Highlight the importance of areas such as business law, corporate governance and the entrepreneurial mindset

• Focus on other aspects of business development including strategy, diversification and global competitiveness

The BSJ will also be a part of the Expo. With a booth set up and open to the public, the BSJ will be able to engage persons on the various products and services offered. The JBDC Small Business Expo, with the help of organizations like the BSJ, has impacted the lives and livelihoods of an estimated 10,000 entrepreneurs.
