Call for experts!

The Bureau of Standards Jamaica announces a CALL FOR EXPERTS to provide technical support to the Toys & Playthings Technical Committee.

Scope of Work

The Committee is mandated to identify suitable international standard(s) for adoption regarding the safety of toys and playthings. The adopted standard(s) seeks to replace JS 90: 1983 Jamaican Standard Specification for Safety of Toys and playthings. This is in keeping with global innovations, advancement in technology and updated safety requirements.

Eligibility Requirements:

Interested persons should have extensive knowledge and experience in the relevant discipline.
