LEAD Centre
Ms. Marjorie Beazer is the Founder & Executive Director of the LEAD Center for Public policy…(PAJS).
She describes herself as never one to sit on her laurels; Ms Beazer is now poised to launch into a new and exciting venture that takes her back to her roots - agriculture! Yes, she's harkening back to her grandmother's coal burning, animal raising, and food growing days, as she tosses her hat into the ring (or should we say sowing her seeds?!) and bends her back to the plough as she becomes a serious backyard agriculturist if you please! Getting her hands dirty and breaking a nail or two? No problem! Early hours and arm wrestling weeds and aphids? No problem? Excited about the challenges and rewards ahead? But of course, that is NOT a problem, man!. Turning this new leaf means not only will she continue her tireless work as a sustainable development, social justice, and psychosocial health & wellness advocate, leader and consultant, but now she'll be adding the richly healthful, multidisciplinary aspect of agriculture to the mix - what a wonderful mix that will be!
