Welcome to the Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ), the national standards body for Jamaica!

The BSJ promotes and encourages standardization in relation to commodities, processes and practices. Over the years, the role of the BSJ has expanded to include providing industry training which falls under the purview of the Quality Institute Bureau of Standards Jamaica (QI BSJ).

BSJ’s Quality Institute is Jamaica’s national training agency for quality and standards that provides industry training to strengthen employee competence, increase operational efficiency, and build capacity for sustainable growth and development.  The QI BSJ offers a variety of quality and food safety capacity-building courses to support the national and regional quality culture.
